Eric Daniels

Artist member since 2022
Guelph, Ontario

Eric Daniels is a 2020 graduate of Drawing and Painting and Expanded Animation (DPXA) at OCADU. He is Guelph born and raised and currently resides in Toronto. He is an experimental and energetic animator and a tranquil, traditional painter who explores abstract, blasphemed mythologies through various artistic projects to criticize religious iconography and ask questions about spirituality. His art is humorous and sublime with huge landscapes, imaginative creatures, bright and natural colours, and surreal haziness. Eric hopes to work on video installations, create beautiful tree filled paintings, and write music while finding the ways in which he can perform all his creative pursuits at once.
